Social Program

The following events are included in the registration fee for delegates. Should you wish to purchase additional tickets to the Welcome Reception, please complete the appropriate section of the registration form.

Opening Ceremony
Venue: Sheraton on the Park

An invitation is extended to all delegates and registered accompanying persons to attend the Opening Ceremony to be held at Sheraton on the Park. The gentle natural sounds of the Australian outback, land and wildlife will fill the room, immersing the guests in the sights and sounds of the land. Guests will then enjoy a traditional Aboriginal Welcome, featuring a Smoking Ceremony, dance and the haunting sounds of the didgeridoo. Guests will then be officially welcomed to the conference.

The Welcome Reception is an opportunity to renew old friendships and make new acquaintances. Canapés and fine wine will be on offer and quite background music will be played, allowing for easy conversation and networking. A range of top restaurants within walking distance will be suggested for guests that would like to continue socialising into the night.

Dress: Lounge Suit

A cruise along one of the world’s most beautiful harbours is sure to be a conference highlight and unforgettable experience. A sit-down delicious 3-course meal will be served as guests take in the magnificent views. Large windows offer panoramic viewing and a spacious outdoor deck is perfect for catching some fresh air or mingling with friends.
